“Change How You Think.”

Keynote speaker Jonathan Z. Queen captivated attendees at the 7th Annual DMC Youth and Law Enforcement Forum, held on May 1 at Millersville University, as he gave details about how his life changed dramatically when he began to see things differently. The author and youth pastor spoke to 130 students from the School District of Lancaster and many adults from collaborating organizations. Pictured is a panel discussion with police and youth, another important component of the event. The purpose of DMC is to ensure equal and fair treatment regardless of race and ethnicity, and educate youth on what to do at the point of contact with law enforcement. CACC, the Gunterberg Foundation, Lancaster City Police, La Academia, Millersville University, Office of Juvenile Probation, SACA, State Police, School District of Lancaster, Arbor Place, and Trinity Lutheran Church were sponsors this year.
